The rooms feel dated, though that seems in keeping with the area, and the bathrooms look like the only part updated in the last 40 years. Please consider replacing the plug sockets, since pulling a plug out takes a lot of force. The place is still nice to stay in, especially with a family. The mini club team and the rest of the staff go above and beyond, and they’re fantastic. For me, that brings the rating up to four stars, though the hotel itself is more like three.

The mountain views were great, and the location made it easy to leave skis and boots right by the lift. Everything was very clean and comfortable, and we thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The sauna was a nice extra at 8 euros per day. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, particularly Nicola and Monica.

The balcony view is lovely, and the rooms have a good kitchen with the basic appliances, plates, forks and the rest. But the six-person rooms are too small even for five. The fifth person gets a sofa, while the other two sleep in a room without a window. There’s also nowhere to dry clothes after skiing.

We arrived on Tuesday, October 8th, 2019 and checked in, only to find that the toilet didn’t work and the room smelled bad. It also hadn’t been made clear that one bed was a pull-out sofa, while the other was the bunk bed shown. We asked where we could eat, but no restaurants were open on site or nearby. We were told we’d need to drive an hour toward Turin or 30 minutes the other way. The property felt eerily empty, with workers remodeling a building across the street. When we asked how many rooms were booked, we were told there were just three, including ours. Reception was leaving at 5:00, which would leave us alone on the entire site. We cancelled and headed to Turin. With no services available and no real sense of security, this place shouldn’t have been taking bookings. I’ll be requesting a refund. RCI shouldn’t offer this facility during the off season.
