The setting is gorgeous, and the service is still pretty good, even if it falls a little short. I wouldn't come expecting luxury or a sophisticated getaway. Most things are acceptable, but the dirty dishes and cups really aren't.

The crowds were the hardest part for me. Kids were running, shouting, and crying all over the place, and evenings felt chaotic. The animators tried hard to manage things during the day, but every game or activity seemed to draw hundreds of people. SerenUp was disappointing too, since only a few of the promised activities were available. The resort is spread out, so getting between the room, beach, and restaurant takes time, and the noise and size just aren't for me. There were things I liked: the resort was clean and attractive, the food was excellent, and the family rooms were bright, clean, and spacious. The beach and sea were both very good. Pipiriello (hope it’s correct) and Spaghetto were funny, and we enjoyed the evening performances. My stay was okay overall, but this kind of resort isn't a good fit for me.

The rooms needed repairs to the phone, TV, and safety deposit box, and there was no Wi-Fi. You have to keep your towels for seven days or pay 7 euro to get them changed. Meals were below par and served in a canteen. This felt like the opposite of luxury, and we'd only been there five hours. I wouldn't call it a four-star place, and would avoid it.
