We stayed three nights with my wife in July 2025 and would absolutely come back without hesitation. The Villa is beautiful, and I appreciated that the owner grew up there and works to keep it nice while sharing it with travelers at a very reasonable rate. It’s very close to Siena’s walled section and made it easy to walk everywhere we wanted. Parking was pretty easy on Viale Gofreddo Mamali behind the Villa. I only used the car once to move it for street cleaning day. Our room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. We didn’t have breakfast, since we’re early risers but late eaters, so I can’t comment on it. I loved Siena.

We were able to check in early, and the attentive host responded quickly and let us keep our bicycles in the ground-floor room. It was spacious and clean, and there’s a lovely garden with seating. A good base for exploring Siena on foot.

We had a very pleasant stay. The owner was friendly and supportive, and the location worked especially well for visiting the small towns near Siena. The villa itself is lovely, with a nice garden at the back. Our room was well decorated and had a balcony with a nice view.

The owner spoke very rudely, and our luggage was thrown out the door after 10:30 am. Is this how hotels in Italy treat guests? I’d advise people not to consider this hotel. It was the worst hotel of my two months traveling in Europe. A real-name negative review from a Chinese tourist.

The garden feels roomy, and the little balcony is nice to use early in the day or at night. The location is very good, and the small room is practical. There’s no elevator, though, and finding parking was difficult.
