I've stayed at La Dimora dei Monaci twice, once 18 months ago and again just last week, and I'll always stay there when I return to Siena. The hosts are charming and attentive. The beautiful bedrooms and absolutely stunning common areas both have fabulous city views. It's right in the heart of Siena, less than a five-minute walk from Piazza del Campo. Breakfast was the best I've ever had, even compared with five-star hotels, and it's included in the room price. An exceptional B &B.

We loved the old property's original features and its quiet, quaint feel. Our charming, comfortable room looked out over woodland toward the old city walls, with great views. The hosting was wonderful too. We had an exceptional stay at La Dimora.

The hosts were amazing. When Sunday services meant we couldn't get a taxi, the owner's dad drove us in his little Fiat, which made the whole experience even more fantastic. The place has beautiful views and a great spot close to the main square. Highly recommend!

The decor was beautiful, and our room was spacious and clean, with a very functional bathroom. Breakfast was very good too. We had an excellent experience. My only suggestion for anyone arriving at night, as we did, is to add lighting to the stairs and entrance.
