La Terrazza Sul Campo Rooming House

The staff were friendly, and the hotel kindly provided earplugs, which we needed because the night was noisy and it was hard to sleep without them. We had a good one-night stay overall. The view of the main square and the location are wonderful, and the rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. Our bathroom connected to the one in the next room, and when either party showered, the other had a bit less warm water.

This will be our fourth stay at La Terrazza Sul Campo when we come back to Siena in three years. We’ve visited three times over the last five years and always choose this place. The whole team is accommodating, and Viola does a great job keeping in touch before we arrive. Our room is wonderfully large and spacious, but the view is priceless: it overlooks Piazza Del Campo, and we love stepping onto the balcony at any time of day or night to take in the city’s atmosphere.

Working remotely here was easy. We had privacy, quiet, and all the comfort we needed for meetings and focused work, while still having time to explore Siena. The location is tucked on a cozy little street just steps from Piazza Il Campo. The apartment was stylishly decorated, with a huge comfortable bed and everything we needed. Viola shared helpful places to eat and shop so we could avoid tourist traps. Before we arrived, Viola got in touch with directions and everything else we needed to find the apartment. Each morning someone checked whether we needed anything, fresh towels, or a room cleaning, and everyone was genuinely helpful. When I ran into a problem, Viola even replied at 11 PM, which was reassuring. Our flight from Pisa was late on the last day, so we were allowed to stay in the room longer and work while it was raining outside. Viola also gave us some Siena specialty biscuits. I had a wonderful stay, and I really appreciate people who put so much care into their guests’ holiday. It was an honor to stay here, and I’d definitely recommend it.

Our room was gorgeous and so generously sized, with an incredible view. Viola and her family made us feel very welcome, and even helped arrange a taxi for our early morning departure. La Terrazza Sul Campo is the perfect place to stay in Siena. Don’t skip this hotel!
