You wake up to an amazing view, with nature all around and barely any neighbors. Alessandro and Claudio run the place wonderfully, and the warm, family-like feel makes you want to stay for weeks in peace and quiet. The wood structure and insulated windows seem well suited to keeping the summer heat out too, though I haven't been there in summer. There are several bedrooms and bathrooms, plus all the comforts you could need, even for a single night. Heating options include a fireplace, gas or pellet stoves, and radiators, with hot water too. Parking is available for cars and motorcycles, including under the covered shelters, and the prices are hard to beat. A winter visit has become a must for me. The best of the best!

Claudio and Alessandro are wonderful brothers, and the staff are really friendly. Our cabin was spotless and cozy, with everything we needed, in a great location. The service was excellent too.

The chalet we were given was awful. There was practically nothing in it, even though the description on other sites said it would have basic essentials, such as a coffee maker. The one there couldn't be used. The house stayed cold even after the heating had been on for hours, and the bathroom was freezing. At that price, I expected breakfast to be included, but it wasn't.

The village has ski slopes and plenty of places for adults, especially kids, to have fun. The Palaghiaccio hotel itself was welcoming, with very kind family-run managers and delicious Calabrian food. The rooms were clean, warm, and welcoming as well. Thanks to them, and see you next year 😀😀

The cabins were comfortable and nicely warm, and everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. We had a really lovely stay, and I'd definitely recommend them.
