The room itself was clean, but very bare-bones for the price. There’s no mini-fridge, hardly any outlets, the walls are thin, and the bathroom is plain. There’s no breakfast either, and the rooms feel extremely dated. It’s a shame, since the place has a lot going for it: a lovely lakefront setting, beautiful views from the rooms, and kind staff. It really needs an update, or the price should come down.

The rooms could be better, but the lakefront view is stunning and the location is great. The staff were courteous and attentive, and the rooms were spotlessly clean. I highly recommend it.

We rented a double canoe for an hour, which cost €20. The staff were friendly, put it in the water, and helped us get in. They also gave us a waterproof backpack for our things. It’s a shame Lake Arvo has shrunk so much because of the lack of water.

I’ve rented a canoe here twice. It’s a sports center with professional, helpful staff, and they also put on lively entertainment, including afternoon music. I joined one of the telescope observation sessions too.
