Brick House Silea

The Park of Sile was an unexpected delight right on the doorstep, with a peaceful river and lots of wildlife, best explored by bike. Brick House is a great base for seeing the Veneto and Venice, and the house is beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Alberto went out of his way to help us and offer advice, nothing was too much trouble. We’ve just returned from two weeks here and can’t recommend our hosts, the region, and the house highly enough. If you’re visiting Venice or the wider area, this is the perfect base.

Treviso is enchanting, with canals, frescoed houses, and plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops. Venice nearby is a must for anyone who loves Italian architecture, and the food and wine are delicious. Brick House is a great fit for sports and nature lovers too: the river area is ideal for walks, jogging, biking, and even rowing. It’s very peaceful, so sleep is undisturbed and the stay feels relaxing. The house was recently remodelled in great style, and the owner is extremely nice and there whenever you need advice or help.

We were a group of friends and used all 3 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The house is really well organised and has everything for cooking, including a coffee maker. Alberto was kind and very helpful with any information we needed. It’s in a great location, and we’d definitely come back. Thanks so much!
