Green Marine L14 Silvi Vacanza

This is a lovely, welcoming place in a perfect spot, and we’ve been returning for more than six years. What gets tiring is the annual parking dispute between apartment owners and agencies. They could settle it and repaint the parking lines quickly, but instead it turns into the same soap opera every year. People leave notes on cars rather than speak to each other or call the caretaker, whose paid duties include renting apartments. Maybe this sort of hassle is why people hesitate to buy here. Still, it’s a wonderful place, and I hope they finally resolve such a simple issue instead of dragging it on year after year.

The sea is beautiful, and that’s the reason I’m giving this place two stars. We rented for a week and leave tomorrow morning. The complex has around 300 apartments, with only a small share rented through agencies and most privately owned. We didn’t feel welcome, either inside or outside the apartment, and everything looks very run-down. Mosquitoes swarm around the neighborhood at night. People also ignore the quiet hours and make noise at all times. I wouldn’t recommend it.

From the place you can see the sea and a huge garden, and downstairs there’s a beach club in the courtyard run by very kind people. Kids can enjoy the rides at the amusement park, too. It’s a beautiful, comfortable property. We got unlucky with the weather last year, and dealing with two agencies was the only drawback. I think I’ll come back this year.

A lovely spot for a break on the Adriatic. The residence blends in well with the beach, with a good balance of homes and green space.
