We found the room very cozy and practical, even with its old-fashioned furnishings. The room and bathroom have lovely antique pieces, and I even liked the hand soap's scent. Free parking was available, and the air conditioning had been turned on before we arrived, which was thoughtful and made it easy to rest after a tiring trip. We liked it enough to ask for one more night, but there wasn't any availability. One thing to plan for, especially off season, is dinner. There aren't many places around, and some are closed; others shut for siesta and reopen after 19:00, which can mean 19:15. This isn't a complaint about the hotel, just something to keep in mind when booking. Having a car helps, and you may want to arrange breakfast separately.

Villa Garibaldi is a stunning building in the center of Bettolle, the southern gateway to the Valdichiana. Marco welcomes you there, and the room was spotless and comfortable, at a standard I've rarely come across. A wonderful way to begin a tour of Tuscany.

A very beautiful and special place, with everything clean and in order. The bathroom is huge, with a stunning tub right in the center, and the owner was wonderfully kind. We'll definitely come back.
