L'Ulivo

The first thing I noticed on arrival was the strong smell of flowers and greenery all around. We were immersed in nature, with sheep grazing on the hill and their bells carrying across in the morning. After a day at the beach, the apartment balcony was a lovely place to unwind in the sunset breeze and look out at the sea on the horizon. The farmhouse is tucked away from the noise, but still conveniently placed. On our motorbike it took about 7-8 minutes to get to Siniscola, the port of Caletta, or the village of Santa Lucia. Inside, the apartment was simple, welcoming, and very clean. Antonietta was kind, patient, and helpful throughout, and made us feel at home. She's one of those people who stays in your heart. I'd gladly recommend this place and hope to return for another holiday.

The owner was warm, discreet, and attentive to what guests needed. We also bought some amazing local specialties from them. The rooms are simple but well kept, and sheets and towels are changed when they're cleaned every four days. It's a good base for nearby beaches, while still surrounded by greenery and away from the bustle of the seaside towns. I highly recommend it.

We stayed as a couple from August 20th to 26th in one of the two-room apartments. It was very spacious for two, with a bedroom, dining room, bathroom, and a living area with a kitchen and sofa. It was clean and had what we needed for a week. There's no air conditioning, but the two fans and window screens meant we could keep the windows open, and we slept well in the quiet, cool air. We even felt refreshed by the lack of a TV. The property sits among greenery at the end of a short dirt road. It's close to La Caletta and handy for getting to Capo Comino and Berchida beaches. Antonietta was welcoming and very helpful. We also had dinner at Punta Lizzu, the restaurant below the apartments. Its typical Sardinian menu and picturesque terrace overlooking the sea made it an easy recommendation. A great place to stay while exploring this area.

We had a lovely vacation here. The owners were so kind and helpful, and there's even a farm on the property where you can try Sardinian specialties. Our accommodation was spotless, had everything we needed, and came with plenty of linen for the bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom.
