La Fattoria Delle Tartarughe

The view is picturesque, and there’s so much nature around, with plants and animals. More than anything, though, Loris and Marco are caring hosts. They look after their guests, their little paradise, and Sardinia. Make sure you try their excellent dinner. It doesn’t get better in Sardinia.

We spent two nights and loved it, and would gladly come back if we can. The dinner was a highlight, with handmade seasonal food that was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. We also enjoyed the guided visit to meet the animals they care for so lovingly. They clearly care about both the animals and helping the environment. Loris, Marco, Anitta and Cristiana made us feel at home with good conversation, wonderful food, and lots of care. Everything here feels made with love. Thank you, La Fattoria delle Tartarughe 💚

You end up feeling like part of the family when you visit, with all the good and the costly bits ;) We loved the hosts and everything about the farm, apart from maybe that scary gecko!!! 🤣🤣🤣 The dinners are among the best meals on the island. If you can, stay for one ☺️

Marco and Loris made us feel completely at home, and we really didn’t want to leave. Their property is a charmingly laid out sanctuary for small animals, birds, and turtles, with lovely rooms and spaces for yoga and massages. Marco’s gourmet dinners using local ingredients were mind-blowing. The setting in Southern Sardinia is beautiful too, with stunning views and crystal blue water beaches nearby. One of the most incredible places we visited during our three weeks in Italy.
