I've got nothing to say.

The hosts cooked delicious meals, and we had some lovely conversations. That was a real highlight of our time at Capo Corso. We had an apartment, and I was there on my own with my 8-year-old son. The property is a little dated, but it has an irresistible charm, and everything we needed was available. The staff were always happy to help, and you can see that recent renovations have brought the place back to life. We rented a car since it’s too far to walk anywhere, though the hosts offered to collect us from the train station or airport and drive us to places we wanted to visit. Even without leaving the grounds, there’s plenty to do: walk through olive groves to the riverbed, relax by the pool, or look around at the Mediterranean vegetation. We had a really relaxing stay and would love to return with friends.

I stayed in the Olivo apartment, set in one of the old farm buildings. It was spacious, very clean, and in a lovely position, with comfortable beds and the essentials, including a large gas stove. Air conditioning was there, though I didn’t need it in October. Antonio can also prepare Sicilian dinner or breakfast if you order ahead, and the food was delicious. The grounds are beautifully arranged between two roads and the Anapo riverbed, with olive and palm trees among many others. There’s an interesting group of old buildings, including an olive mill that must be more than 200 years old. Chickens, cats, and two friendly dogs live alongside the guests. Antonio, the owner, was especially memorable. He helped whenever something was missing and offered excursion, hike, and local place tips without being pushy. He was also a fascinating person to talk with about travel, culture, and nature. I’ll definitely return to Capo Corso on my next trip to Sicily.

Antonio and everyone at the farm gave us wonderful days in Capo Corso. It was an unforgettable experience, and also a birthday celebration we’ll always remember. The people were lovely, and the place was beautiful. Thank you again, Antonio!

Antonio's generous, open, and considerate way isn't something you book, but it became a big part of our experience. He says, “Agriturismosociale is his life,” and he lives it. The old farmhouse grounds are hard to beat, with olive groves, palms, a stream, dogs, a pool, campsite, tennis court, former restaurant, and granary. There’s also a shared courtyard with a grill, billiards, and table football, which brings people together. We spent two weeks as a family in an apartment in the converted cattle barn. It’s well placed for outings, but also lovely to stay put. The facilities aren’t fully suited to a vacation, though the essentials are there and clean. Improvising helps, and Antonio has a solution for everything. He picked us up in Syracuse. A magical corner of the earth for nature lovers, kids, and explorers, with a long history and its own quiet, dreamy stories. Thanks so much for the experience, in friendship!
