Breakfast was all set out for us when we arrived, even homemade granita. The apartment is spacious, spotless, and has every comfort, in a very convenient spot for getting to Ortigia. Maria Grazia and Alessio put so much care and passion into looking after the house and welcoming guests. Every detail is thought of, and we felt warmly looked after. A perfect stay! We were three friends in Syracuse for two nights, May 20-22, 2025, to see a performance at the Ancient Greek Theater. Thanks to Maria Grazia, we felt right at home. She and her son Alessio welcomed us warmly, showed us our three rooms, and explained how everything worked. The house was very clean, with a renovated bathroom and a comfortable shower. Breakfast was plentiful, sweet and savory, and the fridge was well stocked. The location worked very well for us: there’s a bus stop downstairs, a small supermarket and places to eat nearby, and the Catania bus terminus and train station are close. It’s handy for Ortigia, the Archaeological Park, and the Borgata Santa Lucia neighborhood, where Caravaggio’s masterpiece is. We had an excellent stay.

We had the whole apartment to ourselves, and everything we needed was there. Ortigia is only 150 meters away on foot, which was a big plus. Maria Grazia and her son Alessio were perfect hosts and made us feel so welcome. SUPERIOR hospitality!!!! Thanks, highly recommended.

I was there for two weeks on a work trip and felt right at home. The apartment is spacious, fairly quiet, and very well located, with parking nearby. The owners are really kind. I’d happily stay again, this time for a vacation.

The owners are fantastic people, very professional, and happy to take care of every request. The place is clean, tidy, and hygienic, with every comfort: a private elevator, three bedrooms, another living room, a kitchen, and a bathroom. It feels like home, maybe even better. Fantastic location, just steps from Ortigia and very close to the archaeological area. What more could you ask for? ❤️
