Archimede's Rooms

Breakfast is served at the bar next door and was a bit modest. The rooms look plain from outside, but inside they’re lovely, modern, and have everything you need. Check-in was easy. My main complaints were the very uncomfortable mattresses and no regular socket by the bed for charging a phone, just a USB port.

The host was very friendly, and the place was clean and modern, near a supermarket and the archaeological park. It’s quite a way from Ortigia, though, and noise carries through the thin walls between rooms and in from the street.

The manager was the highlight, kind, helpful, and always willing to accommodate us. We felt welcome throughout our stay. The B&B was spotless, with a fresh smell everywhere, and it was clear the tasteful renovation had been done with care. Having a coffee machine and chilled water was a lovely extra, and convenient parking felt like a real luxury while traveling. We had a perfect stay and would definitely return. Highly recommend it for comfort, cleanliness, and friendly service.
