The building itself is beautiful and conveniently close to the seaside solariums, but I strongly wouldn't recommend staying here. I was there for six days, and my room didn't have the advertised balcony. What it had was a shared walkway used by other guests. This is a B&B, not the three-star hotel advertised on Google, and in my opinion it wasn't a particularly decent one. The room's window was tiny, looked only onto the courtyard, and let in zero light, so day and night felt the same. The bathroom had no window or bidet, just a shower over the toilet for rinsing. The furnishings felt out of place, and the mattress is something I won't even try to describe. I've already told the owner all of this directly. I hope he renovates the place a bit and corrects the online advert.

It was reasonably clean and comfortable, but the room had no windows, and neither did the bathroom. The building was noisy, there was no breakfast, and the value for money was poor.

We stayed two nights in this lovely home right in the center of Ortigia. It was tastefully furnished, with a private bathroom, a shared refrigerator, and an inner courtyard that was perfect for breakfast. A kind woman with a Sicilian accent welcomed us and helped us find parking. This wonderful accommodation made our time in Sicily even more enjoyable.

Our stay was two days, unfortunately. It's hard to reach the property by car, and the parking can be as much as 2 km away, so you have to carry your suitcase from there. The room had no windows, while the bathroom was even tighter, poorly ventilated, and smelled like underground drains. It felt unhygienic. The shower was terrible, the sink drained slowly, and the bidet was just a hose with a tap. There was no shampoo either. On our first night, the electricity was out for over an hour, even though we'd notified the manager. I don't recommend it.
