We liked the apartment and its central spot in Ortigia, and the owner was good. But we ran into a string of problems. With four of us, the hot water was gone after two showers. The air conditioning didn't heat the whole apartment, and the beds were noisy and uncomfortable. The TV didn't work, the big kitchen stove was unreliable, and even the iron wouldn't heat up.

The apartment is spacious and has a lovely terrace for relaxing in the evenings. The location is perfect, and we highly recommend it. There isn't parking on site, though. The nearest parking is a five-minute walk away and costs €15 per day.

Ortigia’s lively bars and shops are only about 30 meters away, yet the accommodation felt comfortable and pleasant. The room and bathroom were spotless, and the hosts were attentive and welcoming. A really good stay.

You can get around without a car from this apartment, right behind the main road and close to a supermarket. It’s in the heart of Ortigia, with everything you need inside, and the terrace was especially lovely and relaxing. I’d recommend it.
