Geko's House

I was surprised to find such a peaceful garden tucked inside this centrally located B&B. Once you walk in, it feels like a green retreat from the city. My room was warm and welcoming, with refined, delicate furnishings and spotless cleanliness. The space was used so well, and every detail felt chosen with care and passion. The owners made the stay especially lovely. They were genuinely kind and incredibly helpful, and welcomed me like an old friend rather than just a guest. I’d highly recommend it if you want some calm while still being close to the city. I’ll definitely return.

Annalisa was exceptionally kind, friendly, and ready to help with different requests. The property itself is welcoming, clean, tastefully furnished, and has everything needed for a pleasant stay. It’s a little outside the historic center, in a quiet spot, and close to the beautiful natural-surface cycle path by the Santa Panagia tuna fishery, popular with sports enthusiasts. Syracuse is rich in art, and the most beautiful, pristine seaside resorts in Sicily, including Avola, Noto, and Vendicari, are nearby. Highly recommended.

We had to urgently leave a previous accommodation during high season because it wasn’t suitable, and Annalisa got the house ready for us at very short notice. Staying with her felt like a breath of fresh air. The property is clean and functional, and the owner is helpful and delightful. We had a wonderful time. Highly recommended for anyone traveling with pets.

The host was extremely kind, and we felt great there. The rooms are chic and very clean, and the courtyard is well kept, with places to relax and a barbecue. There’s a beach about a kilometer away with a lovely view of the Etna Volcano. The downside is that it’s far from the city and there’s no public transport. Across the road there’s a shop and a gas station, and a pizzeria is very close.
