GHS - Appartamento San Giuseppe in Ortigia - Loc

There are useful things here for a longer stay, including a washing machine, ironing board, clothes rack, and what you need to cook. The location is nice, though you'll need to climb stairs to reach the apartment, which sits above a restaurant. The contact person explains how to use the entrance key. The hallway has an unpleasant musty smell, and the small living room TV doesn't always work. Both balconies, one off the living room and one off the bedroom, aren't really usable, and the walls and sofa are stained. The shower drain pipe is for the air conditioning. Garbage collection was a problem: even though the instructions are on the fridge, it wasn't picked up, which seems to reflect the city's general cleanliness issues. For a trip out, I'd suggest bus 122 to Fontaine Blanche, €1.50, or you can take the train.
