The owners deserve a special mention: they're enthusiastic about their work, kind, and ready to help with any request. The B&B is central, in a quiet area near the archaeological park, with public transport just steps away. There was room to park our own or rental car on the surrounding streets. I stayed this August, and the room was beautiful, newly done, very spacious and exceptionally clean, with a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was a varied buffet. Highly recommended.

The people here are friendly, and it's a good B&B. We found the bed and shower comfortable, and the noise level was pleasant too. You're a little farther from the island and good restaurants, but getting around by car is an option. We arrived a bit early and were kindly allowed to check in already. Definitely recommended.

Claudia and Gaetano, the owners, were what surprised me most. They're sincere, genuine, helpful, friendly, and incredibly kind-hearted. The B&B is also very conveniently placed, about five minutes from Ortigia and close to roads leading to various seaside spots and the best-known places in southern Sicily. The rooms are all more than spacious, clean, tastefully furnished, and cared for down to the smallest detail. Even the bathrooms are roomy and meticulously maintained. “Superlative” is the right word for this property. I recommend it to everyone and hope to come back!

We found the room and bathroom spacious and very clean, and the owner was kind and helpful. The location worked really well for classical performances and visits to the archaeological park, catacombs, and other sights. Ortigia is a 20-30 minute walk away, though there's also a shuttle bus. Excellent.
