Franceso is an impeccable host, and Casa AlphaBeta is such a welcoming place to stay. Instead of a mini bar, there's a full wine rack, a fridge stocked with beer and nonalcoholic drinks, and all the water a trip to Sicilia might call for, which is A LOT. Prices are lower than at most local shops. The team are always ready with advice, suggestions, and useful information, and do it with a smile. The beds are comfortable, the shower is amazing, and the location is prime, five minutes a piedi from Ortigia or the station. Somehow it's quiet too, even near the heart of siracusan traffic. I want to go back to siracusa more than I need to, just to stay here again. Grazie mille!

The room was nice, the owner very helpful, and the location couldn't be better for staying in Syracuse. Many thanks to Francisco for the magical map and brilliant advice. I've put it away somewhere safe ; ) Highly recommended.
