Italiana Resort Maniace

A disaster. He said the card had failed and insisted we pay cash, at a higher price. We had told him we'd arrive around 7 or 7:30, but traffic made us five minutes late and he refused to let us in. He also accused us of having been drinking. We're on vacation, so why is that his concern? He demanded all five guests be present before admitting us, even though three were arriving on a flight at dawn. It ruined our night. I don't recommend it.

The accommodation itself is okay, but breakfast was unacceptable. It's served at a bar 200m away that was one of the worst I've seen in Italy. The ingredients were dangerously disgusting and the service was awful. The owner clearly says on the website that there is no parking, but be aware that the only available parking is 2 km away and you have to pay for it.

It's a great base for walking everywhere, with a very central location, though the car park is 20 minutes away. My room was spacious and quiet, with a comfortable bed, good shower, plenty of hanging space, a fridge, fast Wi-Fi, nice toiletries, good maid service, and effective air conditioning. Breakfast was basic but okay. It's unmanned, so text ahead. A few balcony chairs and an English-language TV channel would have been nice. Great place to stay.
