Breakfast was delicious, and eating it on the deck was especially nice. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, and Giuliana really went out of her way to look after us during our five nights at l'acanto in mid October. It’s right in the center of ortigia, so getting anywhere on the island is easy. The price is low compared with other bed and breakfasts, despite the high quality. We even told her she should charge more. For anyone visiting Ortigia, we highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed breakfast on the lovely terrace when the weather allowed. There was a nice mix of fruit, nuts, sweets, and savory items. Giuliana was responsive and helpful, and L’acanto is right in the heart of Ortigia, close to the historical sites and surrounded by plenty of coffee shops, bars, and restaurants.

The location is absolutely great, and our host made us feel at home during the five days of our honeymoon. We loved it. The breakfast was the best, with tasty Italian treats, and for my birthday we were surprised with balloons and candles for the cake. We’re so happy with our stay and couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Giuliana was so friendly and gave us great service. The rooms were nice, the bed comfortable, and breakfast out on the terrace was a big plus. It’s an amazing B&B in a perfect location. Really recommend it!

Breakfast was generous and delicious, and the place felt spotless, safe, comfortable, and tastefully done. Giuliana has made Ortigia feel like a special place to stay. We travelled with two children and felt our needs were considered and then some. It was like staying at a friend’s. Thank you, Giuliana. We wish you all the best and really hope we can return.
