We found it easy to walk to all the beautiful parts of Ortigia from here. The rooms are roomy and comfortable, and the lighting and thoughtful, personal decor make the place feel cozy. Would happily recommend :)

Fresh fish, fruit and vegetables, cheeses, spices, clothes, souvenirs, and plenty of other things are on offer at Mercato di Ortigia. It’s a lovely open-air market and definitely worth checking out.

With the market right outside and lots of great restaurants an easy walk away, this is where I’d stay in Catania/Ortigia. Our room was comfortable and the host was a huge help. I wouldn’t look anywhere else next time I’m in Catania.

On 29/3/2024 I couldn’t get any confirmation, and nobody was at reception when I arrived. I’d spent the whole afternoon calling, then had to find another hotel that evening. At 23h I finally got a message saying the receptionist had gone to the cinema to watch a movie (!?). When I told her it was unbelievable that nobody was there to open the door, she just laughed in my face. I’ve never had such a rude and unpleasant experience in all my travels.
