I travel all over Italy as a destination event manager, and Not'Art boutique is one of the best places I’ve found. I love unique, genuinely handmade Italian clothes, and this is the place for them. The fabrics are lovely, and the cuts are practical while still looking stunning. The pieces feel made to last. Don’t miss a visit when you’re in Ortigia.

The creative feel of Not'Art and the quality of the clothes made the visit really special. Letizia and Raffaella have a great eye and suggested pieces that suited their customers so well. I can’t wait to wear my new dresses and come back. Highly recommend!

The rooms are spacious and clean, with plenty of comforts. Ours had private verandas with tables and an outdoor sink, handy for rinsing swimsuits and towels, or just relaxing or barbecuing. The lady even came by to freshen up on the second day. Prices are somewhat high, but seem about average for the comfort and cleanliness. They accept holiday vouchers too. The hotel is in Ortigia’s historic center, and the main sights are all within walking distance. There’s a private paid parking lot nearby, though the lady didn’t mention it to us. Talete public paid parking is about a ten-minute walk away and costs €15 max for 12 hours. The Hole is the little shop owned by the lady below the hotel, and the hotel entrance is through the main doorway next door. The hallway smelled clean. One downside in our room was that the air conditioning stayed on all the time because its remote was broken. It’s a good place to stay in Ortigia.

I’ve bought quite a few pieces from Not'Art and wear them all the time. They feel timeless, and one accessory can change the whole look. The fabric quality is exquisite, the painted items are distinctive, and the owners are incredibly friendly. As a Milanese fashionista, I adore this shop. Definitely worth seeing if you’re visiting Ortigia.
