Ortigia Sweet Home in Syracuse

Mr. Franco was kind and always available, and the house was spotless with every comfort. Its excellent location also made it easy to explore the city. We had a fantastic experience at his place and highly recommend it.

Our room was welcoming and tastefully decorated, and the property had every comfort we needed. It went beyond what we expected. I’d definitely recommend Suite Dione if you’re visiting Syracuse.

The owner's representative was very kind and answered questions quickly, though I never saw or heard from the owner. The room itself is large and nicely furnished, but the mattress was uncomfortable and the pillows very low. It’s conveniently located, with a breakfast bar about 10 minutes away, and the price is reasonable. Still, I expected something different: this is a rented room with a bathroom, not a B&B. It works for a couple of nights, but four nights would be too much for me. If you’re used to renting rooms, it may be fine. There are two flights of stairs to reach the accommodation, and a towel rack in the bathroom would be useful.

The service was excellent and the prices were great. This is a carefully appointed holiday home, with elegant rooms in a strategic spot in the heart of Ortigia. I highly recommend it.
