Palazzo Alfeo

Palazzo Alfeo is right on the Ortigia waterfront, with the market, St. Lucia, piazzas, restaurants, and shops all within walking distance. We loved our stay. Barbara and her helpful staff kept the clean room in order while we were out, brought us a lovely fresh breakfast, and helped us with restaurant suggestions and parking. They were attentive and made the stay relaxing and enjoyable. Five-star experience, and I’d definitely return.

The apartment was quiet and comfortable, with wonderful views. Chiara was quick to reply and friendly and helpful throughout. We used the recommended valet parking service, which was worth every penny, and they also arranged a reservation at a popular restaurant. I’d stay here again. Thank you!

We came mainly to enjoy the patio and jacuzzi hot tub, and both were superb. The apartment was immaculate, with incredible views from the windows and patio. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the windows opened easily for a breeze. The bathroom was small but beautifully done, and the shower had great pressure. The staff were attentive and friendly; Ilse welcomed us at check-in and stayed in touch when we had questions or wanted city recommendations. My mom and I had a lovely few days visiting Sicily, exploring Siracusa and relaxing by the sea. The hotel is right beside the sea in Ortigia, a perfect spot for a getaway. I highly recommend it for a visit to Siracusa.

We made a couple of meals in the kitchen using fresh produce and seafood from the Mercato and local delis. It has a coffee pod machine, stove, and large fridge, which made that easy. The apartment is spacious and well equipped, with appealing holiday-white decor. Our large bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was roomy, though the shower could have been bigger. Daily room service was included, our dishes were washed, and the friendly staff were much appreciated. The apartment is in an excellent spot near the water, with magnificent views from the kitchen and bedroom. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby for waterfront dining, and even better places a few minutes’ walk into the old town.
