The building entrance doesn’t look great, but don’t let that put you off. Gianluca’s apartment is immaculate, and it stayed quiet at night despite being just steps from Ortigia’s main restaurant strip. It’s a spacious, renovated place in the heart of old Siracusa on Ortigia island, with plenty for a short or longer stay: a very comfortable queen bed, enough pillows, a washer and dishwasher, an iron, a large TV, and three kinds of coffee makers. Italians take coffee seriously! The town is a treat too, with narrow streets and the grand Baroque square of Minerva.

Gianluca was so kind and explained everything clearly, plus he gave us good tips for the city. The location was great, and the rooms were super clean and had everything we needed. I’d definitely recommend it!

The location is excellent, and the parking pass is essential. Gianluca is thoughtful and attentive, and his kindness makes it feel like visiting a friend. The apartment was spotless, practical, and had everything we could need, so it was very comfortable for our family of four. Ortigia is a real gem too. An unforgettable holiday, highly recommended!
