The villa has recently been refurbished, so it looks much nicer than the current website photos. We suggested they update them. We contacted the hosts about a few snags from the refurbishment, as they had invited us to do. Some were fixed during our stay, while others were still outstanding when we left, though nothing major. The city tax is due in cash when you arrive. We were also asked to pay a €500 security deposit in cash, which we hadn't been told about. Luckily, between us we had enough, though they said they could collect it the next day if we needed to get cash from an ATM. The deposit was refunded by bank transfer after we left. We stayed ten nights, but the bedding and towels weren't changed. There is a washing machine.

It could be a nice place to stay if everything worked as it should, but the rental price is far too high for what you get. The pool wasn't ready until two days after we arrived, and the kitchen was worn out, with cupboard doors hanging off their hinges and not closing properly. The gas heater only worked on full, and when the dishwasher was on there was no hot tap water, or the dishwasher couldn't be used while the boiler heated the tap water. The insect screens wouldn't slide and had holes, so mosquitoes could get in, and the shower doors were loose. The website photos are beautiful. That's about it. The place has potential to be a nice resort.

The location was awful, and without a car you can't do anything. The nearby rocky beaches aren't great for swimming either. The only plus was that the air conditioning cooled the tiny rooms quickly. Two rooms were OK, but for the price the rest was a disgrace. The pictures don't match reality, the pool needs chlorinating, the mosquito net is broken, and the description is misleading. It's all makeshift. At €2,000 a week it might have been halfway reasonable, but €6,000 is a disgrace. I'd advise anyone expecting 4 or 5* standards to stay away.

There's a huge garden, a covered barbecue area, and a wood-fired pizza oven. The holiday home is beautiful, and it can fit nine people if you make the best of the space. The kitchen is rather small, though.

The house is lovely, with lots of room to relax, and there's a nice pool. It's in a quiet area, with only a short walk to the sea. The landlady was very nice. Sadly, the sea view is limited.
