A lovely little base for exploring Sirmione. The historic centre is about a 25-minute walk away, and the hosts are kind and really helpful. They also serve a nice breakfast.

There’s a lot to like about the facilities: a great room, swimming pool, pleasant breakfast lounge, and an outdoor sitting area. The hotel has friendly hosts and a welcoming feel. It’s a good 30+ minute walk to the main town of Sirmione, though Colombare has plenty of places to eat and drink. You can also take the shuttle bus for €1, or €1.50 if you pay on the bus. I’d definitely come back.

We had a really good weekend here. It’s a cozy, clean little place just outside Sirmione town centre, and the staff were friendly and ready to help. I stayed with my girlfriend and we both had a nice experience.

We’d planned on just two nights at Albergo Bagner, but each day we wondered why we should leave when everything was so nice. It’s a family Albergo run by three generations, with little Anna, 7 months(!), as the youngest. Everything felt warm and well managed. If or when we return, we’d certainly stay with the Bagler family again.

If you’re okay with a short walk or a quick bus ride into the city for 1,00 euro, this hotel is a good choice. The breakfast was more than good, and the staff and owner were the nicest I’ve experienced during years of visits to Sirmione.
