The pool and playground were nice, and the complex itself is pleasant, but our apartment was dirty and poorly prepared. The photos seemed very old or from another apartment because the place looked completely different in person. We also found very little storage in the kitchen and bathroom and hardly any hooks for towels or toiletries. The TV was smaller than a computer monitor, so we didn't even try it. On arrival, we were sent to the wrong house, where none of the keys worked, then had to carry all our luggage to another entrance. Inside, my black socks got filthy as soon as I took off my shoes. There were jam marks on the table and stains on the kitchen doors and toaster. A bedroom lamp bulb had cracked and was sharp, and they only fixed it after we complained. The sofa bed had stains that might have been urine, so my son refused to sleep on it. When we raised this, they just said we could cover it with the sheets. The sofa cushion covers were dirty too. The broken door seal kept popping out even when we pushed it back in. The whole family only got one huge set of keys, none labeled, so we had to try them one by one. You need the keys even to take out rubbish. The doorbells don't identify "apt. 4" or "wonderful italy," so if someone stayed inside without a key, you couldn't ring their bell to get in. Cooking was a problem, too. Although the apartment is meant for up to six people, you can't run two stovetop burners and the oven together without blowing the fuse. "wonderful italy" replied, "This can't work the way I'm used to in Germany." There's supposed to be a final cleaning, so why weren't the defects repaired and the apartment cleaned properly before we arrived? The underground garage door has to be opened and closed manually with a key, and it was hard to maneuver our family car in and out. We preferred leaving it outside in the heat.
