The town centre and buses are close by, so the location is very good. The ferries are only a bus ride away, or about a 30-minute walk. Be warned, though: there are only two Western-style toilets, and the rest are squat toilets.

The pool hours were the one downside for us. It opened too late for a swim before heading out and closed too early to enjoy the evening atmosphere there. Otherwise, I was glad we chose this camp for our stay at Lago di Garda. The setting and views were great, and the showers and toilets were new. It was refreshing to see a camp like this.

We had a very unlucky time in Italy, with three unexpected things happening during our stay, and the owners and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The camping is right by the lake, and the bathrooms are very well maintained. The pitches are great for a stay at Lake Garda, and the beautiful town of Sirmione is an easy walk away. Definitely recommend it.

Our tent pitch was quiet, and everything was clean and great. The only hassle was the many little rocks, which made it difficult to peg the tent down. Staff were very friendly.

We came for a birthday dinner. The setting is excellent, right beside the lake, and the food and wine were good. Most of the wait staff were good too. The first server I approached to get a table was cantankerous and surly, but an Egyptian staff member stepped in and was very nice and professional.
