Hotel Gardenia

The people made this place special. We’ve never had so much attention given to making our stay as good as possible, and our two large dogs were spoiled so much they didn’t want to leave. There was no extra charge for them. I’d recommend staying here whether you have dogs, an electric car, or are just a couple spending time in the area. I’m sure you’ll feel very welcome. We called in the evening because we needed a room spontaneously, and luckily they had one. It turned into one of our best experiences in Italy. The cheapest room was already booked when we called, so we got an upgrade. The room was comfortable and clean, and everything worked perfectly. Breakfast was really tasty, with vegan options, and we had the best bread rolls in Italy. There’s a car charger at the back with very reasonable rates. It was too cold for us to swim, but they do have a great pool.

Late check-in worked, and the kitchen food was proper and really delicious. Breakfast service was top notch. The music and lights in the shower made my day. The receptionist didn’t know English, and said the pool temperature would be fine, but it was freezing. The bathroom door had no lock either. I’m still sad about that pool.

Lovely hotel, with an excellent owner and staff. The rooms are very clean, and there’s parking and electric vehicle charging available. It’s a 40 minute walk to the historic centre of Sirmione, or you can take the shuttle bus there.

The staff were the kindest, most helpful people, and the hotel was absolutely fabulous. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and for being so accommodating 🥰
