Hotel Mavino

We could hear conversations and even snoring from the room next door through the very thin walls, which was pretty annoying. That's why I'm taking off a star. Still, I loved this small hotel for its peaceful location near the town centre and the beautiful Lake Garda view from the balcony. The room was quiet spacious and clean, with all the necessary amenities. Breakfast was decent.

The reception staff were friendly and helpful whenever we needed something, and the historic centre location is quiet but close to most Sirmione attractions. The room was a little dusty when we arrived, though the cleaning staff came daily and provided clean towels. Breakfast let the hotel down. The older lady seemed bothered by our presence and didn't speak English, so it was hard to ask questions. The food choices were limited, and the whole breakfast service felt uncomfortable. I'd recommend the hotel for its value and location alone.

The ride in from the parking lot, about 800 m away, was a fun part of the visit in its own right. The hotel was clean and pleasant, and the service was friendly.

The balcony was a lovely bonus, and the beds were comfortable in a very clean room. Breakfast was nice too. I had no complaints, and communicating with the staff was easy: everyone spoke English, and most people knew other languages as well.
