My bed was exceptionally comfortable. I’m a very light sleeper and tend to get hot at night when a mattress is too soft or poor quality, but this one felt just right. We had a Lateral Lake View Apartment, and the view was nice too. The hotel is a bit pricey, particularly as it’s outside the town center, much like many places in Italy. In the kitchenette, we were missing spoons, cutting knives, and kitchen cloths. There’s no phone in the room, so you have to call or WhatsApp reception using your own mobile, and replies may take a while.

The place is new, clean, and well equipped, and it feels like good value. You’re close to the town centre, with private parking and a private beach. The kitchen could use a little more imagination, though. One thing that bothered me was all the electronics in the room. The LEDs stayed bright all night.

Just 1 km from the city centre, with a clean, modern room and a nice balcony view. The price was fair too.

The hotel is now trying to charge me a cancellation fee and marked me as a “no-show,” even though I arrived with my minor children at 11 PM and had a valid reservation. I had only one card with me, American Express, which the hotel wouldn’t accept for the outstanding balance. At that hour, I couldn’t arrange another way to pay, and even offered to settle it early the next morning. The staff wouldn’t consider any reasonable solution. Being left to deal with this late at night with children was incredibly stressful. This was caused by the hotel’s handling of the situation and refusal to be flexible with payment, not by me. I consider the fee completely unfair and unacceptable. I’ll take the matter up formally with Hotels.com and share what happened publicly. This place doesn’t deserve even one star.
