Villa Pagoda

The room had its own character, with air conditioning and a terrace, and there were beautiful flowers all around. Staff were kind and helpful. It’s on a side road, so it stays really quiet, while the beach is just across the street.

The beach is right across the road, and the old town is an easy short walk away. It’s far enough from the center to stay peaceful, with good nearby places to eat at reasonable prices. The host was very kind, and the clean building has plenty of character and a story behind it. No two rooms are alike.

The beds were so comfortable that, even though I usually can’t sleep away from home, I had no trouble here. The owner is lovely, the house is cute, and everything was very clean. The beach is right across the street, and bus stops are close by, which makes getting around easier once you’ve parked at the hotel. There’s a nice area outside to relax. I’d give it an even higher rating if I could.

The garden was a lovely spot for morning coffee, and they provided coffee and biscuits in our clean room. The property has a really interesting layout and we were welcomed in a very friendly way by the great owner. It’s well placed for exploring the area, and if you’re lucky you might see the local garden lizards. Great value for the price.
