Camere Maré

The rooms were bright, lovely, and clean. Veronica was a delightful host who did everything she could to help and make us comfortable.

Veronica was attentive and knew the area well. The rooms are new, well looked after, and very clean. We walked into the center easily without moving the car, and there was free parking nearby. At the end of August, finding a spot was never a problem. We also used the paid shuttle to go straight from the property to the beach. Thanks again for all your help and care with the details.

I had some doubts at first about privacy, but I never saw or heard the neighbors. The room was modern and well kept, and the simple bathroom had a huge mirror that I loved. The cleaning lady deserves credit too. If you ask, she’ll tidy the room even late in the morning. It stayed cool in the middle of August, though there’s air conditioning as well. There’s also a comfortable private garden where you can smoke, hang laundry, or relax on a lounger. Ilenia greeted us, but check-in felt a little uncertain and she was in such a rush that I didn’t understand much at first. 😂 The price was really affordable, a good option if you don’t want a hotel. The breakfast at Bar Jolly just wasn’t my thing.

The room was plain, all white, and a bit sterile, though I did sleep fine. We chose to check in ourselves, as they’d asked whether we preferred that, and it went smoothly. Check-out was much less organized. I had to call the owner to ask how to pay, then wait around 30 minutes for her to arrive. The POS terminal wasn’t working and hadn’t been charged, so we ended up making a bank transfer. I didn’t feel very welcomed, and I think the service could be better. I hope this comes across as feedback to help improve things, not just criticism.
