Petite Maison

We found everything we needed in this sweet little house, and then some. The owner had even left a great bottle of wine from a local winery. Ilenya was so kind, welcoming and full of useful advice that helped make our vacation unforgettable. The location, facilities, hospitality and cleanliness all deserve five stars. We'll be back soon.

I had already paid €1,020 by credit card through Booking for July 10-18, 2021, but the owner, Ilenya, insisted that I cancel or change the departure date. She wanted a Saturday-to-Saturday stay, ending on Saturday rather than Sunday as I had booked. Booking told me my reservation was valid and that the only restriction was a minimum stay of one week. Worried there might be retaliation when we arrived, I felt I had to cancel. Now I can't book somewhere else until the €1,020 is refunded to my prepaid card, and I have no idea when that will happen. The rules seem extremely rigid: Saturday to Saturday only, no dogs, no private parties, no noise, and so on. I can't comment on the property itself since I never stayed there, but I strongly advise against booking.

The owner was very nice and welcomed my family and me wonderfully. The place is enchanting, carefully looked after down to the smallest details, and in an area with plenty of services. I'd recommend it to my friends for a holiday.

Even though we arrived late, the welcome was impeccable. The property is very carefully maintained, down to the smallest detail, and conveniently located in town. We really did test the owner's patience with all our requests, I admit. We hope to stay at La Petite Maison again.
