Agriturismo Il Cardo

Stefania, the owner, was a great host and helped with every request, making us feel welcome. Our child especially loved the donkey and two ponies, and there’s hay for feeding them, just be sure to read the instructions. The huge garden was great for running around, playing football, and using the small playground suited to preschoolers. The rooms were lovely, well equipped, and the grounds were beautiful. We also enjoyed the homemade olive oil and recommend trying one of their wines. It’s a handy location for driving to the main sights, and we’ll definitely return next time we’re in the area.

We have lovely memories of our trip to Italy, and would certainly come back. The region was even more beautiful than we expected, and the place itself was quiet and well kept. Stefania was especially kind and a wonderful guide. Breakfast was a good time to ask her questions, and she even shared one of her pastry recipes with us. We also loved the olive oil and wine. Thanks to our hosts, and long live Lago de Garda!

Stefania and her husband looked after us so well at Il Cardo. Our apartment had enough room for our family of three, and breakfast was tasty, with good coffee, cakes, and other things. The pool was very clean and suitable for small children. There are also lovely places around the lake very close by.

The olive groves made the place feel special, and there were fun pool toys and Sunday umbrellas. We enjoyed feeding the donkeys and exploring the local area. The host was the kindest I’ve ever met, helped us feel relaxed, and treated us to wonderful coffee drinks. It was a really neat experience.
