Hotel Arthur

The hotel is really good, but breakfast needs work, so I can't honestly give it five stars. There was nothing at all for people with celiac disease or gluten intolerance, and no healthier options like fat-free products or oat milk. When guests arrived in the breakfast room, nobody came over to offer coffee, so you had to wait a long time or serve yourself. The buffet pastries didn't seem fresh that day either. These details matter for looking after guests and keeping up the standard of a four-star hotel.

I've stayed at Hotel Arthur a few times, most recently in August 2023. The welcome is friendly, the room was nice and had air conditioning, and the service was good. Nothing to complain about, just great.

Everything was spotlessly clean, and the rooms were spacious, with a generous breakfast offering plenty of variety. The hotel managers were very helpful too, pointing out good local places to eat and interesting things to do. It's close to the Ferrari Museum and Ducati factory, and not far from the autoroute.

I couldn't travel to the hotel because I had COVID, but they still charged me the full amount. I think it's a pity they couldn't be more flexible in that exceptional situation. What surprised me even more was that, when I asked for their general terms and conditions, they never gave me a concrete answer. Even after my emails and translations into Italian, the hotel didn't send the terms legally required for a purchase or billing. So be careful, expect surprises. They seem to apply rules as they want, and the whole experience was sad.
