At La Mola, we took a workshop on making pasta and tiramisu, and had a fantastic time. It was peaceful and charming there, and the class was fun and well organized. The hosts knew their stuff and guided us through each step of making fresh pasta and delicious tiramisu. A lovely hands-on taste of Italian cooking. Highly recommended!

The scenery around La Mola in the countryside of Sommacampagna was lovely, and it was easy to reach places like Venice and Lake Garda. We had a great time exploring the area. The hospitality, though, was another matter. We asked politely for clean cups after finding dirty ones with yesterday’s coffee stains, and the receptionist reacted aggressively, as if we’d insulted her. For the rest of our stay we felt so unwelcome that we timed our trips from the room to the car. Five stars for the setting, zero for how we were treated.

The cooking class was a real highlight of our trip. We learned to make a full three-course Italian meal from scratch, and our chef was passionate and patient, making the whole class a lot of fun. We made handmade pasta for the first course, followed by a succulent traditional main, then assembled the most heavenly Tiramisù I’ve ever tasted. Unforgettable!

We spent a few days at La Mola resort with our 4 years child and 3 months baby. Surrounded by nature, it was a peaceful, relaxing place, and the restaurant was excellent too. A lovely, cozy spot if you’re looking to unwind.
