The staff were kind, which was the one bright spot. Still, we chose to leave right after breakfast instead of using the pool as we'd planned. Getting there was difficult, especially for anyone not used to driving on rough roads. Some sections felt potentially dangerous. When we arrived for our one-night booking, the reception was closed and there were no posted opening or closing hours. We were asked whether we wanted a room, as though we hadn't booked, even though we'd made the reservation a week earlier. Our room looked old and as if it hadn't been updated in years. The fridge was off, with expired hot dogs inside that smelled bad. We reported it and they were taken away. The pool area didn't look like the promotional pictures. Its floor was dirty, and the dining area wasn't inviting. The advertised archery range was just a rotten, broken-up piece of wood with circles drawn on top of a wall. Dinner and breakfast were nothing special. There was no printed menu. The raw meat was the only dish worth mentioning. The pasta all'amatriciana was overcooked pasta with sauce and a little ham. Breakfast was okay, though at a farmhouse I expected homemade food rather than supermarket products.

The unpaved road takes a bit of care, but you do get there. Once there, it's a simple place to slow down, surrounded by nature and quiet, with a pool and even an outdoor whirlpool. We had a tasty lunch made with genuine local products, and the welcome was friendly, helpful, and attentive to what we needed. We came for a Thursday away from city noise and the rush of everyday life. To really unwind, though, you need to respect nature and the people who put their time and energy into making the stay pleasant. If you're expecting to be treated like royalty, this probably isn't the place for you. We'd gladly return. Highly recommended, and best regards!

The pool is pleasant, and the water was fairly clean despite the recent reviews I had read. It's not very big, but being surrounded by nature makes the spot nice. They're also the only place around that stays open until 11 pm on Sundays, which makes for a lovely evening out. The bar and restaurant service really needs sorting out. Things were disorganized, and there were avoidable scenes at the bar in front of customers. Just one waiter was rushing around, sometimes for no clear reason, while a young girl was helping at a very slow pace. Good pool, poor service. Take it slowly on the dirt road in. You could end up leaving bits of your car behind.

The owner was busy getting ready for an 18th birthday party and didn't know about our Airbnb booking. We explained that the payment had already come out of our account and the reservation had been accepted, but all she said was, “I don't have any rooms available!” The staff were extremely rude. There was no professionalism at all, and I strongly advise against staying here.
