A wonderful farmhouse-style cabin for taking in the Dolomites. The staff were kind, and breakfast was homemade. I'd highly recommend it for all of that. Wow! :)

The breakfast had everything I needed as a mountain hiker, and I enjoyed being out in air that felt much better than in any city. But dining options in town are very limited. The hotel itself feels more like a family guesthouse than a four-star place. Room #3 and others are often very small, and the bathroom has no window. At 6'3", I also kept hitting my feet and ankles on the bed's end bumper and waking up. Noise was the biggest problem. I could hear every footstep, including children stomping, as well as shouting and chairs being moved. It started between 6:30 and 7:30 in the morning and woke me repeatedly. I spoke to the owner once and she responded, but the noise made the whole week very unpleasant. Anyone hoping for a quiet balcony stay should know about this.

The view from this house is enchanting, and everyone who comes by seems amazed by it. It's a great place for a few relaxing days, with walks through meadows and woods and a friendly relationship with the owners. I have known the family who own it for 50 years, which is why I keep returning. The place is very well organized, the rooms are kept in perfect condition, and everything is immaculately clean. Breakfast is excellent, with plenty of variety for different diets. The owners are down-to-earth, helpful, cheerful, and warm.

Maria was so kind and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. The place is comfortable and clean, in a quiet, green part of Soprabolzano. Everything was great.
