Hotel Ristorante Olimpus

A beautiful hall for wedding ceremonies and other events.

There’s plenty of parking, with well-kept greenery around it. A terrace sits above a small stream of stagnant water. There are no bad smells, and it’s pleasant to watch when the faucets are running. The restrooms were perfect, clean and stocked with paper towels and soap, with air conditioning in the bathroom too. The room temperature was just right, the setting refined, and the service struck a nice balance between formal and informal. The chef plated the food beautifully. I guessed the hot and cold appetizer samples were meant to be eaten from left to right, but I went the other way because I was thinking about the flavors. I stopped after the pasta since I was very full, though I didn’t feel heavy. It seemed like the kind of light dinner that would lead to a deep sleep, and that’s exactly what happened. Even with a glass of white wine alongside lunch, I digested everything without a problem. Thank you very much.

We had a very pleasant evening at Olimpus and chose the seafood menu. It included the Olimpus appetizer, with a selection of hot and cold dishes, then two first courses: bigoli with lemon, baby cuttlefish, yellow date tomatoes, and fragrant bread; and trofie, which we ordered instead of tagliolini, with calamari, artichokes, and smoked swordfish. We also had grilled fish for the second course. Everything was delicious, plentiful, well seasoned, and good quality. Service was fine, and the bill was impressive. For a restaurant of this standing with such a structured menu, the cooking perhaps lacked the more nuanced flavors I’d expected.

A beautiful venue for important events and top-notch evenings, with delicious, distinctive food and meticulous attention to detail.
