This little family-run place is charming and right in the heart of Sovana. The rooms have traditional decor, plus air conditioning and a smart TV. There are products available. Sound carries between rooms because they're not very well insulated, and the building opposite looks directly toward the bedroom and bathroom. The shower pressure is low, which made washing long hair difficult.

The village is lovely and quiet, and it's about a 30-minute drive from cascada Saturnia. The hotel's location is fantastic, though the hotel itself was only average for us. We were put in the unreconstructed building beside the main house. The room was okay, but needs a lot of renovation: the heater and cooler were held together with tape, couldn't be switched completely off, and made a constant faint noise. The bed wasn't very comfortable either. Breakfast was traditional Italian, but the sweet items were all industrially made and low quality. The coffee was the best part. Dinner was good but overpriced, even with the 10% discount for hotel guests. We ate there one evening, then went to another great restaurant near our agriturismo on the other days.

A very nice little hotel with friendly staff and perfectly clean rooms. A good choice if you're looking to stay near Pitigliano. Just keep in mind they don't serve breakfast.
