The villa’s authenticity is what stayed with me. Its details and little corners make you feel you’ve stepped into another era and can touch history. It’s a 17th-century villa, and at breakfast Carlotta, our gracious host, told us fascinating stories about the place. We hadn’t imagined how many memories and secrets these old walls held. Her warm welcome made us feel like cherished guests, and our trip to Italy became a true fairy tale. I wish everyone could experience it. I hope places like this never disappear, because they remind us how beautiful the world is when we truly see it.

The owners were very friendly and helpful, and our dogs could enjoy the park and were allowed into most places. The villa has a one-of-a-kind atmosphere, with antique furniture alongside new art instalations. The rooms are huge, and the park and views are great.

We also managed to visit the open-air theater set up right in the park, which was a real highlight. The bar deserves a special mention for its atmosphere. The villa’s historic architecture, interior space, and artifacts all sit within a beautiful natural landscape, cared for by wonderful owners. Fantastic place, highly recommend!

A fantastic mansion at the foot of the Alps, with a fantastic host and friendly staff. It’s only open from March to September, though.
