The staff were super friendly, and the rooms are clean and spacious. The balconies are really nice, with amazing views across the city and valley. The shower cabin is on the small side, as some reviewers have said, but it wasn’t a problem for me. If you want a hotel with clean rooms and panoramic views, this is a good place to stay.

I stopped by to ask whether I could get a day pass for the swimming pool, but that wasn’t possible. I didn’t stay at the hotel, so I can’t comment on anything else.

We enjoyed the delicious food at the beautiful restaurant across from the Hotel, the cleanliness at the Hotel, and the great service from the friendly owner. The hotel is high up, with lovely views over the Tiber valley and fresh air when you open the balcony door. We didn’t encounter insects or mosquitos. The gardens and swimming pool are beautifully kept, and the setting overlooking the ancient small town Soriano Nel Cimino is peaceful. Sheridan and Aelita
