Belvedere Sorrento BB

There’s an elevator, which is handy. This is a comfortable little B&B right in central Sorrento, with a lovely view and a host who was friendly and helpful. The kitchen is on the small side and there isn’t much food there, so if you’re someone who likes a big breakfast, plan to eat elsewhere. That’s easy enough from this location.

The location is great, close to key places and with nice restaurants nearby. We got good value for the price, and there’s an elevator. You can also get to a wide terrace with a nearly 360-degree view of the sea and mountains. Our room was quiet, comfortable, and very clean, with daily cleaning. It had a skylight and an electronic blackout curtain. Breakfast was served in a friendly kitchen with nice news. ALFONSO was a very kind gentleman, and LAURA was so sweet. Would definitely come back. The apartment is within walking distance of just about everything, and the rooftop was a lovely spot to unwind after dinner with a glass of wine and the night view. The sun had already gone down, but we enjoyed sitting up there all the same. We stayed three nights at the Belvedere B&B on our first stop in Italy. Alfonso and his wife were friendly and glad to answer questions or help with any issues. The room was clean when we arrived, and we got fresh towels every day. It was just right for two. The shower was a bit small, though the rest of the bathroom had good space. There was a mini fridge in our room and a shared kitchen area with coffee and croissants.

The only thing to keep in mind is the stairs: it’s several flights up and there’s no elevator, so it may not suit you if steps are a problem. We loved staying here otherwise and would recommend it. The location is right in the centre, about five minutes from the train station. Our cute little room had a skylight, private bathroom, and air conditioning, which came in handy. Breakfast food is provided in the shared kitchenette, and there’s a mini fridge in the room for snacks. The rooftop terrace was a highlight, especially having breakfast with that view.
