Casa DAmare

The layout worked really well for us: upstairs had beds and its own bathroom, while downstairs there was a double bed and another bathroom. We also had separate balconies or terraces, so we could enjoy a bit of privacy. The little house was lovely, and the complex is beautiful, too. Mario was helpful from the time we booked, sending directions, places to eat nearby, and taxi contacts. He was attentive throughout, and any questions were met with kindness and a positive attitude. A few steps away is Filipo, one of the best restaurants we tried in Italy, and a great option when you don't fancy walking into the center. The house is uphill, but the walk is manageable and the center is only minutes away. We had no problems and would happily recommend the place.

Casa d'Amare was spacious and clean, tucked into a quiet neighborhood away from the busy town center. Mario and Sanna made everything easy: they collected us from the train station, arranged a tour, and were always around if we had questions. We loved staying here and highly recommend it.

Getting a taxi this far up the hill was difficult, and the slope is really steep. The street is narrow and winding, and drivers beep whenever they come around a corner, so the noise got overwhelming. I wish we'd been warned about that beforehand. Our host was kind and welcoming, and apologized when we found the room musty and not fully clean. He offered a small discount, but we'd already cleaned, and there wasn't enough time during our stay to sort out the smell. We got used to it, but the cleanliness was disappointing. Also, the Google ad shown alongside this place isn't the property itself, so check the details carefully.

The place was lovely, clean, and comfortable, and everything worked as it should. Davide and the others were warm and friendly. The rooms could use better heating in winter.
