The hosts were lovely and ready to help. I asked for ice and a wine opener, and they got them for me from their own kitchen. The building felt safe, had an elevator for luggage, and check-in was easy. We could leave the key at the desk, so there was no need to carry it around. Everything was clean and comfortable, with the beds made and rooms cleaned daily. The train and bus stations were just a 4-5 minute walk away, and it was an easy walk to the city centre, shops, and restaurants. We also found a great nearby street-food place with cheap arancini. Our group had a lovely, affordable stay in a typical Italian accommodation in Sorrento. The rooms were on the small side, as is typical here, and the shower was small and a bit tricky to maneuver. There was no fridge or microwave, but we were happy eating at the local restaurants.

One of the owners pointed us to some great places to eat, and they didn't disappoint. The location is fairly central and easy for walking around. Our room was big, with a balcony and ocean views, and it was cleaned daily with fresh towels. We really enjoyed our stay.

The owner was very nice and helpful, and the grandmother who welcomed us was lovely too, though she couldn't understand English or use the credit card system, which could be an issue. The hotel is on the second floor at the end of a small private alley. Our room had all the usual amenities and a nice balcony with a table and two chairs, but the Wi-Fi signal didn't reach us. The bathroom was okay, though the shower needed renovation and a better clean. Some electrical sockets were broken and could be dangerous. We could hear every sound from the corridor, and the door could use an upgrade.

The staff were nice, and the location is good, close to the station and a 7-minute walk from the town centre. The one problem for me was the hot water. Sometimes my wife and I came back from the beach around 3 pm wanting to wash, but the hotel had turned it off and wouldn't turn it on again until about 7 pm.

The place is a shame to see in lovely Sorrento, and I don't know where to start. My cousin was mistakenly charged 400 euro by the very old people managing the rooms. The price they charge should be requested back. The room was tiny, with a tiny TV, and I doubt it was cleaned. The windows were so old that every car could be heard, making sleep almost impossible. Three girls were trapped in the lift when we arrived. The corridor lights were off, so I had to use my phone to find the door.
